Because of its strong holding power, it can replace rivets, welds, and screws while saving time and labor associated with traditional bonding methods, such as welding, screwing, grinding, and project cleanup. The fast and easy-to-use application offers concealed joining to give a quality outcome within a range of industries, including construction, transportation, appliance, electronics, signage, general industrial, and many more. 3M VHB Tape 4919F has high adhesion to metals, glass, paints, plastics, and plasticized vinyl enabling the pressure-sensitive adhesive to stick instantly in challenging environments where water, moisture, heat, cold, and chemicals are present. Not only does it seal tightly for long-term durability, performing in short-term use at a temperature up to 300 °F (149 °C) or long-term use withstanding up to 200 °F (93 °C) but it also has excellent plasticizer resistance.
